Filling a prescription at a retail pharmacy is as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Fill your prescription at any Aetna Participating Pharmacy.
You have access to more than 58,000* chain and independent retail pharmacies throughout all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. This includes leading pharmacies like CVS/Pharmacy® and Walgreens.
Or you can use the Aetna Rx Home Delivery® service - a fast, easy way to order prescriptions you take regularly and have them delivered to your home. Click here for information on Aetna Rx Home Delivery.
To find a local participating pharmacy or to learn more about Aetna Rx Home Delivery, visit our website at www.AetnaPharmacy.com
When you have your prescription filled at a participating pharmacy, you won't have to submit any claim forms. If you fill a prescription at a non-participating pharmacy, you must pay the full price of the prescription, then submit a claim form to request reimbursement. The amount of the reimbursement is subject to the terms of your plan.
2. Give the pharmacist your prescription and your Aetna member ID card.
If you lose your ID card, you can print out a temporary card at Aetna Navigator™. Then call Member Services at 1-877-440-4709 to request a replacement.
3. Pay the applicable amount.
Depending on the type of medication you purchase, you'll pay the applicable copay:
Generic Drug - $10 co-pay
Brand Name Formulary - $25 co-pay
Brand Name Non-Formulary - $45 co-pay
The same co-pays apply to the Aetna Select or Choice POS II plans
