Although you are not required to choose a PCP under either Aetna medical plan, finding the right doctors and other health care providers for you and your family is important. DocFind®, Aetna’s online provider directory, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, makes it easy.

A special version of DocFind has been created especially for TD Banknorth Employees with up-to-date listings of network doctors and other medical professionals and facilities. With our easy-to-use format, you can search for a provider online by name, specialty, ID, gender and/or hospital affiliation.

When linking to DocFind, follow these simple steps to search for a provider:

  1. Enter the geographic information for the area where you wish to find a participating provider.
  2. Under "Provider Category" select the category for the type of provider you wish to find.
  3. Under "Provider Type", select the type of provider you are looking for.
  4. Select a Plan. Within the drop down menu, under the Aetna Open Access Plans category, select either:
    Aetna Choice POS II (Open Access);
    Aetna Select (Open Access); or CompCare
  5. You can fill in Additional Search Criteria to narrow your search by specialty, hospital affiliation and/or name.
  6. Select "Start Search".

That's it! You will be presented with a list of providers who match your criteria. You can obtain additional information about each provider by clicking on the "Providers Details" link.
